Un descubrimiento mundial empuja

Nebulae were once stars that collapsed under gravity,
then violently exploded, ionizing the matter in the surrounding space.
Their role is key in stellar evolution.
Hence the reason for their richness.
And their mistic beauty.

A world-renowned discovery prompted
a woman in crisis named Laura Alhambra,
a renowned TV journalist, to create a TV series about the universe.
She discovered that to live is to evolve, to feel the transit in time.
Humans are the only living beings aware
that they transit through time.
Some of them have a special sensitivity to feel the energy
and other emotions of this initiatory transition.

Esta es la historia de Laura Alhambra,
una periodista de TV que hace años
realizó una serie sobre el universo.
Su historia la relata otra mujer quien,
desde sus propias vivencias,
ofrece sus brumosos recuerdos.

El relato adquiere cierta autonomía de la narradora
cuando Laura, en tiempo presente,
acomete un viaje tanto físico como anímico
que le lleva a asumir su propia posición en el cosmos.
Ese singular y accidentado viaje, primero en globo
y después, desorientada por tierra,
la llevará hasta un punto de no retorno
donde entonces se evidencia
el importante rol de la mujer narradora de toda la historia.

El relato termina con una gran verdad
largamente intuida en la película
y ya enunciada por Federico Fellini:

No existe un final, no existe principio:
solo existe la infinita pasión por la vida.

This is the story of Laura Alhambra, a TV journalist
who years ago made a cult TV docu-series about the universe.
Laura is defined by the intermittent story
of another woman who, from her own experiences,
shows Laura through her hazy memories.

But the story acquires a certain autonomy from the narrator
when Laura, in the present tense,
undertakes a journey both physically and emotionally
that leads her to asume her own position in the cosmos.
This singular and eventful journey, first in a hot air balloon
and then, disoriented on land, will take her
to a point of no return where the important role
of the woman narrator of the whole story is then evident.

The story ends with a great truth long
sensed in the film, already stated by Federico Fellini:

There is no end, there is no beginning,
there is only the infinite passion of life.

Pero el relato adquiere cierta autonomía de la narradora cuando Laura, en tiempo presente, acomete un viaje tanto físico como anímico que le lleva a asumir su propia posición en el cosmos. Este singular y accidentado viaje, primero en globo por el espacio para, después de atravesar un agujero de gusano, aterrizar desorientada en otro momento, otro lugar, la llevará hasta un punto de no retorno donde entonces se evidencia el importante rol de la mujer narradora de toda la historia.
